4 days Redang/KL trip

Wow! Where should I begin.
It had been a fun and exciting trip like I've never imagined.
The plan was a 3 days 2 nights trip to Redang Island then to KL for a night stay.
Yes first of all I am super happy that I managed to visit Redang Island once more just like I wished.

I went there with an uncle and an older cousin.
There are some cons of the trip though :
I don't have enough money.
Both my uncle and cousin had to pay for most of my things.

Yes I am thankful and I appreciate their sincere generosity
but deep down inside I feel bad and guilty about it.
Thus that kinda made my trip less enjoyable.
But I always look on the bright side.

So let's start on DAY ONE.
Took a coach Konsortium from Golden Mile tower to Merang jetty at Terangganu.
Checked in at Redang Bay Resort and first thing we did was took a jump into the sea by the beach,
at eleven in the morning. It was freaking cool.
*NOTE : Avoid Redang Bay Resort if possible, not one of the best "resort" by the Pasir Panjang beach.

Then we went back to our room and slept fro three hours.
That's the last thing I want to do at Redang but we really can't help it.
Twelve hours of bumpy ride in the coach makes it really hard to sleep.
Missed the first snorkeling activity at 2pm.

Had Tea Break.
Swim by the beach and pool.
Female watching.
Dinner.
Explored the other resorts along the beach.
Back to room.
No TV.
Bored.
Sleep.

Next is DAY TWO.
Breakfast at 7am.
Swim by the beach at 8am.
Snorkel at 9am.
Lunch at 12pm.
Sleep until 3pm.
Missed the snorkel activity at 2pm.
Swim by the beach and pool at 4pm.
Skipped Tea Break and had our own "Coconut/Ice Kacang by the Beach" break at 5pm+.
Dinner at 7pm.

Walked around the beach after dinner, checked out Laguna Beach Resort which was the first resort we wanted to stay in initially.
Wow the amount of female in that resort is plenty, nice looking too.
Had mocktail by their Tupai Bar and did more exploring around.
There was the More More Tea Inn a souvenir shop and it was packed with females and their boyfriends.
On the way back, there was a mini dance stage at a neighbouring  resort and Malaysian ah bengs and ah lians were dancing, having a time of their life.

There's really nothing to do there at night.
So we just, slacked.
Slept by 12midnight-ish.

Moving on to DAY THREE.
Planned to swim by the beach at 6am for the last time.
But It was too dark and my uncle thought he saw some black thing in the sea which turned out to be only a shadow.
Had our last breakfast at 7am and packed our stuff for an a ridiculously early checkout at 8am.
Ferried to Merang Jetty and a van waiting for us which will send us to Terangganu city.
Booked a Transnasional coach to KL at 1pm.
We had three hours to wander around the city then.

When 1pm came, we took the coach and took forever to reach KL.
My butt, legs and bladder hurts.

The cities of Kuala Lumpur came into view at around 8pm.
Checked in at Intercontinental Hotel.
A five star hotel in the middle of the state.

We took the LRT from Ampang Park to Pasar Seni.
Took a walk and widow shopped at the famous Petaling Street.
It's a Malaysian version of Bugis Street in Singapore.
*NOTE : Beware of the people there, looks can be deceiving. And beware of pickpockets at all times.

Got interested at an imitation Crocs slip-ons but unfortunately they don't have my size.
Got back to the hotel and watched TV until I dozed off.

Last DAY FOUR.
Woke up at 8am to The Forth Kind on TV and got engrossed until it ended.
Went to the gym, and had a dip in the pool.

Checked out at around 12pm and took the LRT to Bukit Nanas.
Walked to their monorail station and took the monorail to Bukit Bintang,
The map of the train in Malaysia is confusing.
It may look like you can transfer from one station from the green line (Bukit Nanas) to the red (Bukit Bintang) line in the same station but it's not like that.
Green line is supposedly the LRT.
Red line is supposedly a monorail.
These are two different stations all together.
You have to get out from the LRT station and hunt for the monorail station to get to your destination.
There are other colour lines and I have not had the chance to understand the other train service.

We had A&W at the shopping mall located at Bukit Bintang.
Whoa they still have that classic huge float mug.
My stomach was bloated and I was in pain.
Walked around the street when my uncle and cousin wanted to go for a foot massage.
A freaking foot massage... what's the deal...
But I needed the rest from the pain so I went along with it.
It was a good first experience but not the kind of thing I'd look forward to.

Travelling in KL in public transport and discovering different areas was fun.
I really felt like a real traveller.
I enjoy getting "lost" in a foreign country.

We proceeded to Masjid Jamek (a station name) where my uncle said he needed to buy cloths for his mother.
When back to Intercontinental to collect our bags and took a taxi to LCCT, a budget terminal for budget flights which is not so bad with fast food restaurants and cafes.
Slacked at Mary Brown while waiting for our flight at 7:40pm.
My uncle have this funny craving for chocolate cake and I bought Dunkin' Donuts.

Took Air Asia back to Singapore and secretly ate my donuts in the dark when the plane is taking off and landing.
*NOTE : No outside food is allowed in the plane.

Lesson learnt.

Reached Singapore at 9pm.
Home by 10pm.

It was such a memorable experience to a foreign place which I have never been to before without my parents and I learnt alot of things.
I really love those travelling experience.

I did not take many pictures because most of the time was spent jumping and screaming in the sea and some female watching.

I'll come back for more.
